Use the tool, but think for yourself
CheckURLink combines several threat intelligence sources to give you a fast, best-effort verdict on a URL. It is not a guarantee. New phishing sites can take hours or days to appear in any vendor’s database. A “safe” verdict means we found no warning signs. It does not mean the destination is harmless. When in doubt, do not click.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use this tool to scan URLs you don’t have a legitimate reason to check.
- Don’t automate it past the published rate limit (six checks per minute per IP).
- Don’t submit URLs that contain personal data of others (e.g. pre-authenticated session links).
Service availability
The service is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. Upstream vendors may rate-limit or be temporarily unavailable. When a vendor is unreachable, we mark its result as “unavailable” and continue with the rest.
Limitation of liability
Ubuntu Guard Cyber and its operators accept no liability for losses arising from your use of, or reliance on, a CheckURLink verdict. Use the tool as one input among several.
